March 16th Valentin Steinmetz announces that he will discontinue collecting money for the erection of a stone church in Saucon, as a wooden meeting house is to be built six miles away, under the direction of Valentin Steinmetz, Johann Georg Reinhart, Johannes Appel, Henrich Croszman, Conrad Walf, Johann Georg Bossel, Michel Seider, Christian Kaubt, Balthaser Beil, Frantz Rusz and Michael S Jacobus Gerardus Becker, doctor of medicine. Christian Schneider, Goshenhoppen, expects to remove the vicinity in five weeks. Georg Wittman, Cocalico Township (Lancaster County). April 16th Henrich Stoehr, Lancaster County, on Little Muddy Creek, offers a grist mill for sale. May 16th Johann Gottlieb Graeuninger, born at Erlingen, near Sinsheun, arrived in this country in 1738, with his brother, Martin. They were separated, and Johann Gottlieb, who is now in Anweil (New Jersey), seeks news of his brother. Jacob Schlauch, Saucon, three miles from Bethlehem. June 16th Johann Georg Schneider, saddler, Lancaster, is about to remove to the New York Region. August 16th Christoffel Bayer, Allemangel (Albany Township, Berks County); wife, Maria Chatarina. September 16th Peter Conrad, New Hanover Township (Montgomery County), advertises that his German servant, Carl Witt, ran away. He is a smith by trade and 30 to 40 years old. Maria Judith, born at Pfaffenhoffen, Wurtemberg, seeks her brother-in-law, Jacob Legler. October 16th Jacob Weickert, the old wheelwright of Tulpehocken (Berks County). Leonhart Schnaebeli, on Swatara Creek, near Hansz Brech-biel. Christian Mueller, Allemangel (Albany Township, Berks County). November 16th Henrich Hausser came from Switzerland to Philadelphia two years ago. He and his wife were sick on the ship, and he died. Their children were indentured, and the mother lost trace of them. She has since located three of the children, and she now seeks information about her son, Caspar, who is 10 - 11 years old. Johann Nickel Sauer arrived in this country two years ago. While he was sick his children were indentured. He asks for information about them: Georg Wilhelm, 13 - 14 years old, and a daughter 21 years old. Henrich Ruth, Lower Salford Township (Montgomery County). Johannes Frey, Skippack (Montgomery County). December 16th Alexander Johannes Rent wrote to Germany telling his "Baasze" (aunt or cousin), Anna Maria Rentin, to come to him in Pennsylvania. She crossed the ocean two years ago, with her husband, Philip Odenwaelder, a smith, and she now seeks the aforesaid Rent.
